Since then, he has built a card empire known as Goat-Enterprise. Beyond trading and dealing, Rudy created the Rudy Draft, a unique event where he handcrafts his own draft boosters, nowadays together with his son. They spend evenings putting together something special. The boosters are packed with powerful cards, obscure interactions, and wacky combos. Every Rudy Draft is different.
This time around, the draft puts a Mountaingoat twist on things. Draft rare combos and powerful cards, build a unique deck, and challenge fellow players for a one-of-a-kind Magic: The Gathering experience. You draft your Commander from the card pool, and each Commander can be paired with a Prismatic Goatpiper token, a 3/3 Goat token of any colour, which you may use as a Partner to open up additional colour combinations. Some knowledge of Magic: The Gathering is required.

A new, just-tested-only once format at MagicCon Atlanta, and now for the second time ever in tournament form in the Netherlands? Only at CardCon.
UB60 is the working name of a constructed format for the “Mechanically Unique” Universes Beyond cards. The only overlap with canonical Magic cards are basic lands. Everything else is Universes Beyond—from Fallout to Warhammer, Final Fantasy to Spider-Man. Anything goes! As long as it’s not a reprint of an existing Magic card or a reskin.
So grab your 4 One Rings, sleeve up your Clouds, combo with your Spider-Man, and aim to become the first Dutch UB60 champion.

This is a WIM-only draft for women and gender diverse folks. We’re keeping the vibe light and fun. It’s not about crushing the competition and all about playing together and enjoying the heck out of this cube. Expect cosy games, maybe some packs to rip, and a whole lot of Bloomburrow charm.

For all Main Event tournament tickets, venue access to CardCon is included. You do NOT need a Day or Weekend ticket if you bought a ticket for a Main Event tournament.
Only Side Event vouchers (drafts, pick a pack, etc) can be bought seperately and do not grant venue access.
Release dates vary by organizer. We post ticket sale dates on our site as soon as we know them. Please revisit the site frequently to catch new tournament openings. You can also subscribe to our newsletter (see below) to receive regular updates.
Depending on the tournament and organizer, we might use a waiting list or release extra tickets for the general audience. Please check the tournament’s page for details.
For most Main Event tournaments, registration is only available during the presale. Side Event vouchers (drafts, pick a pack, etc) can be purchased during the presale and on-site.
Day tickets and Side Event vouchers are non-refundable, but you can pass these on to others if you wish. We don’t check names for these tickets, so anyone can use them.
Tickets for tournaments (Main Event tickets) are non-transferable, what means that other players can’t use them. Each ticket has an unique name, email address and/or ID. These tickets can be refunded until the 18th of October, by sending an email to info@cardcon.eu (in English or Dutch).
After this date no ticket can be refunded.
