Leon is een conceptkunstenaar en illustrator die gespecialiseerd is in architectuur, science fiction en omgevingsontwerp.

Leon is gespecialiseerd in conceptkunst op het gebied van milieu, sciencefiction en architectuur. Zijn werk wordt beïnvloed door zijn voorliefde voor science fiction films en -games, en hij combineert graag abstracte vormen met levendige kleuren om buitenaardse werelden en gigantische stadsgezichten te creëren.

Sinds Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty werkt Leon samen met Wizards of the Coast en Magic: The Gathering. Zijn werk is te zien op kaarten als Skitterbeam Battalion en Cityscape Leveler uit The Brothers’ War. Daarnaast heeft hij ook gewerkt voor opdrachtgevers als Axis Animation en Paizo Publishing.

Visiting CardCon last year was an amazing experience. I loved how many different types of vendors were at the event. I found cards I’d been hunting for and even stumbled across some new games I’d never tried before. It felt like a treasure hunt for any TCG fan.

I also spent hours playing Commander with friends in the free play area. CardCon was the perfect place to pick up new cards for my deck, test them out right away, and meet other players. I’m already looking forward to the next one!
