CardCon is hosted in conjunction with the Spellenspektakel board game convention. All Day Tickets and Main Event tournament tickets provide access to both CardCon and Spellenspektakel.
We are collaborating with Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre. The Inntel hotel is within walking distance of Jaarbeurs Utrecht and offers a wide range of luxurious rooms and comfort.
You can reserve your room for Spellenspektakel right away, with or without tickets. Please note: when booking, you need to indicate the number of tickets you need.

No, any CardCon ticket that provides venue access (Day Tickets and Main Event tournament tickets) also provides full access to board game convention Spellenspektakel. Please note that Spellenspektakel opens at 10.00, as opposed to CardCon which opens at 09.00.
That’s really easy! Just take the train to Utrecht Central Station, the Jaarbeurs is just a few minutes’ walk from there. Are you joining us from abroad? Utrecht Central Station is just one stop away from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Navigate to Truus van Lierlaan in Utrecht for the Jaarbeurs parking area, or park at one of the P&R Transferium locations for cheap parking and public transport to Jaarbeurs.
We work together with Inntel Hotels Utrecht Centre and Ibis Hotel Utrecht, but there’s a wide range of hotels within walking distance of Jaarbeurs.
They sure do, you can safely store any items at the guarded cloakrooms or in a locker. Both can be paid for by card only. Please note that the cloakrooms will close shortly after 18.00, so please be sure to pickup any items if you join one of the tournament finals after 18.00 on Saturday.
We’ve got plenty of tasty food and drinks at CardCon to keep you happy and wide awake while you compete in games that keep you on the edge of your seat. Outside snacks aren’t allowed, but no one’s going to give you a hard time about your personal stash. Just leave the coolers at home!
All Jaarbeurs services (lockers, cloakrooms, and catering) can be paid for by card only. Most CardCon vendors also have card machines and accept cash too.
CardCon is fully wheelchair accessible. Jaarbeurs Utrecht has step-free entrances, wide aisles and accessible toilets to make sure everyone can enjoy the event.
