CardCon is an annual event that focuses on trading card games (TCGs), such as
One Piece, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana and Pokémon. It is a place for players of all ages to play their favourite games and discover new ones.
Whether you’re an experienced player or just starting your TCG journey, we’ve got you covered!
CardCon offers all types of play, from large tournaments, short drafts and casual play. Bring your deck for the Commander area, or for one of the numerous Side Events.
Find the cards you need at one of the many vendors, or trade your cards with other players at The Exchange.

Just sit down and try one of the many TCGs CardCon has to offer. Your day (or weekend) ticket gives you access to all demonstrations and other areas.
Play a short demo or side event
Try new games at one of the demo booths! All populair TCGs are presented at CardCon. Or join the many Side Events, available as voucher at the ticket shop.
Browse singles, booster packs and merch!
Need some new cards for your deck, or do you want to expand your collection? Check out the vendors for new booster packs, or scour the single cards for hidden gems.
Challenge other players
Sit down for a casual game with your friends, or challenge other visitors to a duel. The Commander Area is for everyone who wants to enjoy a friendly game of cards.
Trade your cards with other visitors
Bring your binder and show your wares! You can make as many deals with other visitors as you like, as long as no money changes hands.

With his first cards releasing with The Brothers’ War in 2022, Leon has been making a name for himself ever since.

Iris Compiet
Iris Compiet is a renowned fantasy artist whose work beautifully merges ancient mythology with modern fantasy. She has been working for Magic: the Gathering since 2019.
DanielCaneMagic
You might know him from his own content, appearances on Kaartcast, or from the various Magic Conventions where he is a popular guest. Daniel Cane is coming to CardCon and is bringing a set of awesome, crazy, and sometimes high-powered side events as well!
Tipsy Goat
Perhaps the best-kept secret of Dutch Magic: The Gathering community. You can command commands and join games all weekend, but don’t be surprised if you suddenly find yourself in a whirlwind of chaos, participating in a game show where only they know the rules.
Paul Scott Canavan
Paul Scott Canavan is an art director, illustrator and game designer.
You might know him from his work for Magic: the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer, Silent Hill: Townfall, Daggerheart, Guild Wars 2 and Destiny 2.
Xabi Gaztelua
Xabi is a freelance illustrator and fantasy arrrtist from the Basque Country in Spain. He’s been working on Magic: The Gathering since 2021.
Known for a wide variety of cards, ranging from roaring fiery creatures like the Pyrogoyf or the Twinflame Tyran.
Women+ in Magic
Women+ in Magic (WIM) is a platform and community dedicated to creating online and offline safe and inclusive spaces for women and gender diverse players, and to inform others on how to make shared spaces more welcoming and fun for all.
Mana Burners Guild!
Mana Burners are a driving force in the Dutch Magic community. Their main hub is their Discord server, where you can talk about Magic with many like-minded people. They also host daily fun Spelltable games with people across the country.

Micha Huigen
Micha Huigen is an illustrator with an immersive style and recognizable color palette. The way the illustrations are composed make the viewer feel like they could wander around in them. He makes personal work as well as commissioned works. Since 2021 he creates art for Magic: the Gathering as well.

Sure thing! Bring your binder and present your cards at The Exchange. You can grab a sign to indicate which type of cards you’d like to trade with other visitors. Please note that you can only trade cards for other cards, you’re not allowed to charge any money. Looking to sell your cards instead? Most vendors offer to buy single cards or entire collections.
If you buy a Side Event voucher, you can register for a time slot at the tournament registration desk and you’ll be paired with other players. Prefer to play a spontaneous casual game? Grab a sign to show which TCG you’d like to play, sit down and await your challenger!

Your day (or weekend) ticket gives you access to all areas, including the Creator MeetUp booths. No additional ticket is needed.
